@mabellegueule In Australian, we call that Pash Rash.
Video Games came in #6 in the Triple J Hottest 100 yesterday (which is a huge music poll where all Australia is able to vote) and I was pretty weirded out it came in so high.
Wow, the Chipmunk one. What was that about? These are much creepier than Poltergeist.
@cuminafterall I find the biggest area for this is the teen show, like Pretty Little Liars and its ilk. All the girls on these shows have the same big eyes, the same long wavy extensions, the same wardrobe and look the same even if they have different coloring.
I find the celebrities you mentioned all very natural looking though - they look like themselves (no 'work', naturally fair). But the reason they are considered beautiful is probably because they already looked that way.
@Stevie Me three. When I saw my name I thought "why is my computer talking to me? Am I being Truman Showed?"
Esther, I can't believe that a fellow Melburnian has MARMITE and not Vegemite! I don't mean to mite-shame but I was shocked. Also I love you and please never stop making this comic.
My family is Italian so we always had visits from the Befana on the Epiphany. My nonna would dress up in a long brown wig, brown mumu, huge straw hat, walking stick and basket and come up the driveway. She would bring stockings full of treats, have some panettone and wine, say a prayer under the tree and then go. My nonna would then come downstairs and act shocked that she missed the Befana, again! It was amazing.
@slb Oh my gosh, I know what you mean! I hope it catches on over there, even though I do think it's adorable that Americans can be bothered to say bathing suit every time. Plus bathers > swimmers every time.
My heart jumps every time I see one of these posts! Since you mentioned them both in the article, can I put in a request for the equally amazing but warring sisters Olivia de Havilland and Joan Fontaine?
@hands_down that's the greatest thing I've ever heard.
