Also: Rusko, and of course Diplo jumped on the dubstep ship. And Benga (hearing Skream and Benga DJ together at Hardfest NYC was pretty excellent).

As much as I enjoy dubstep, though, it has one major thing in common with one of its namesakes: dub – which is to say that there are a LOT of boring, repetitive examples of the formula/genre out there.

For example, I REALLY like Eskmo, but I can see how some might find them boring as fuck.

One more thought on dubstep: it is only good REALLY FUCKING LOUD on a clean soundsystem with ILL BASS.
