Why do contemporary 'sexy pictures' be they for a men's magazine or a women's, depict women looking almost half dead, or with eyes half closed, sometimes almost pained facial expressions? And then, in comparison, the older photos where they are smiling, winking, happy and playful? When did looking happy suddenly stop being associated with sexy? Can we bring that back please?

On Bridal Beauty: Five Things to Do to Your Face
I am probably never getting married, for a bunch of reasons, namely I don't think it is necessary, and I lean toward artistic bohemian living situations, but! I want a party. I want a party where I design the decorations, have fun food, all my favorite people, and wear a nice dress that makes me feel awesome. So I think when I am career settled enough to buy my first house I am going to plan the most awesome house warming party ever. And now, when I read tips for wedding planning, I am just going to translate that in my head as "awesome-ass life stage super party" planning tips.
