@Dirty Hands Is there really such a thing as a spoiler for a movie made from a book that was published 20 years ago?
Them: Hi beautiful ;) [I am a serial killer.]
BOY ARE WE EVER WATCHING BROAD CITY
(seriously, I'm obsessed)
@TenyaLuna Hi, can I high-five you please?
Articles like this always bring this quote to mind:
"If ‘sex work’ is really a free choice and something that is ‘liberating’ , why aren’t men chomping at the bit to do it and dominate that ‘career option’ and crowd women out of it, like they do with other good-paying jobs?… NO woman fights to become a prostitute against all odds. She is prostituted when the odds beat her."

@holly hobby I've had many of these symptoms for... 7 years now? I've basically just resigned to being A Dizzy Person because I don't have $40 to spend on copays for all these doctor visits anymore.
"didn't use to" and "never used to" have slightly different meanings for me. "never used to + verb" is more definite in my mind, where as "didn't use to + verb" allows for the possibility of verb having happened at least once, but it wasn't a habit.
I went to high school with a girl named Joanna Handee. And her parents didn't have the decency to give her the pronunciation that sounds like "Joe-Anna."
@likearollingpin My dad worked with a guy named Dick Hertz, and he was from a town called Holden.
Dick Hertz from Holden.
On "In many states, including Louisiana, police are permitted to use carrying condoms as evidence of prostitution"
These laws also have devastating effects on women of color, particularly trans women of color, who are not sex workers but who carry condoms like responsible sexually active human beings sometimes do. Bad news all around. :(
