@india pretty sure baba helps with that too, though the list of side effects are probably more interesting. and you probably have to ask very nicely.
@crocuta i work with almost all 20-something guys and the general air when i started was jeans and sweatshirts. I have always put a lot into my outfits, and didnt stop at work. I just teased everyone else about how shlubby they looked and lo and behold, the dress standard actually did slowly get better. We're a small office, but still. I was pretty happy about it.
@steponitvelma I did this thing also! I put it next to bed which....can be unnerving, at times.
@jen325 Yeah that made me pretty pissed. That and the reference to "hipster homemakers" makes it sound like Jolie is doting on a bunch of over-grown children which.....not at all accurate, you jerks? We are trying to be cleaner(/better?) people. Don't judge!
@yeah-elle I certainly relate to this, and its so good to hear other people say so! I moved and traveled across many continents with my family while I was growing up, and now that I am an "adult" (not really) all I want is to have this stable, routine-based home. Traveling makes me so anxious -- I don't think of it as an "adventure" it's just nerve-wracking.
I'm not hating on traveling, by the way. Just that for me, it is done. Chicago is all I need, thank you.
@Kivrin ....am I creeper because I am in fact completely and absolutely obsessed with clusters of holes? Is there a word for that?
@ejcsanfran this image just made me Laugh Alone With Salad.
....at a cat story. eghhh.
GUYS. The War Horse by the Handspring Puppet company is the prettiest most amazing thing ever. Just sayin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-bni4QqSv4
@redheadedandcrazy Oh! I feel for you! I am maybe three steps behind you though? They are about to break up. And I am all...to mediate or not to mediate? But the sneaking around and the plans and the lonely dancing...agh. Its a sad place.
ohmygoodness I....I think this is my mother. Edna? Are you my mom?
