@BosomBuddy Probably nothing, but get a check up just to be sure.
I need to locate these stereotype people - no one I know has even heard of Wolf Hall and all I want to do is talk about it! (have resorted to forcibly loaning it out)
@lavender gooms It's a slightly depressing compliment to say of a game "The last quarter is really really good!"
I started playing Dragon Age again but now I'm at the Deep Roads and I remember why it took me a year to finish it the first time.
@plumb-bob I liked Mako's quietness as a funny contrast to Raleigh who just says everything he thinks with no filter - everything she says is very considered. But that was where I felt another few female characters would have helped - I love Mako, but she has to be all things for all women, which is a tough position for a character to be in, if you see what I mean?
@packedsuitcase Just FYI, if you're headed to edinburgh uni, their student counselling service is pretty good, if your Voice of Negativity becomes a problem etc. You obviously may be totally fine, but I think sometimes people forget it's there.
@frigwiggin I liked Raleigh too, but it might have been all the times he took his shirt off... Might need to watch again to be sure ;)
@adorable-eggplant I thought it was really obvious that they would kiss and was kind of surprised they didn't, to be honest!
@adorable-eggplant I do wish there'd been more women (with actual lines) in it. I was ok with no smooching (though I support Mako's right to bang that like a screen door in a hurricane after the credits have rolled).
@HereComesTheMetricSystem I found that having a firm, immovable deadline helped me a lot. (british phd, biology - took me nearly three months full time to write it, but everyone is different) I had a system whereby I knew where I needed to be up to by certain points in time. If I didn't write x number of words/make x number of figures to achieve that goal, I wasn't allowed to go home until I did.
All in all it was pretty stressful, but it's like digging a really big hole. You just have to keep going, and it will end eventually.
@adorable-eggplant I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Easily my favourite film of the summer so far.
