@Nicole Cliffe Oh, man! I love The Thorn Birds!! Most people think it is about an epic romance between Meggie and Ralph...but, really it is about Meggie's battle with God. Also, for some reason I really, really love Mary Carson....she is so wicked...she basically is the catalyst for the whole story....everything that happens to Ralph and Meggie is Mary's doing. LOVE!
@par_parenthese I've been reading your comments on here and have come out of serious lurker mode to say...I think you are my-secret-best-friend.
@Speaking of cake, I have cake My take on WH, and it has been awhile, is that E. Bronte was making the same exact observation about the dangers of those kinds of emotions.
@fondue with cheddar I totally get the overheated thing, too! I had no idea that it could be related to my non-stinky status. So weird!
@adorable-eggplant Please tell me the details of your super-secret-eucalyptus laundry trick!
I am a non-stinky! OMG, I didn't know we were a thing. I used to go around telling people to just wipe their pits with witch hazel and all would be good...and would get the side-eye from, like, everybody. I, also, have very fine to non-existent body hair under the arms and on the leg, sparse, fine pubic hair... I don't know if those are related. I just did the Molly-Shannon-Superstar check to make sure. No. I'm good. No stinky....smells like my lavender soap from this morning.
@heyhaley I had the same thought...is Richard Branson hitting on Jane?!?!
@Kakapo Ahhh! Thanks!!
Didn't Montgomery Clift and Cary Grant live together for a number of years? Or am I thinking about someone else?
