On Madison's Halloween Options

@Mere I also fear the clowns. The screen shot is a little scary- I think it's the smudged lips. I normally don't truck with clownliness, but I'll make an exception for cuteness.

On This Just Happened.

This makes me think of the Stride gum episode of Smallville. The actress playing Chloe had to deliver the line: "maybe next time they won't let the flavor last quite so long" in reference to a closed Stride gum factory. I think she too, went home and showered the yuck off.

On Your Guide to Disappointing Lesbian Cinema

Does Fingersmith count? I heart that movie. I think it's by the same author as Tipping the Velvet.

On Brent Spiner, Where Are You?

@Lindsay Gordon@facebook You can watch it for free online on the Epix website- that's where it's hosted- if you sign up for a free trial. I'm reading you don't need a credit card or anything. We watched it through...other means.

It's worth seeing- it's sad, mind-boggling, rage-inducing, and cringeworthy all wrapped up into one package!

On Brent Spiner, Where Are You?

Speaking of Star Trek, people need to watch "The Captains" asap. Avery Brooks and William Shatner improv jazz singing? It makes you question "Is this real life?" while having that sinking embarrassed feeling of watching people sing when you haven't asked them to, and would really wish they would stop.

I'd love to hear Patrick Stewart talk all day long, but Shatner is a terrible interviewer. Did you know that women really shouldn't be Starship captains, or leaders of the free world because of "all those hormones flying around?" Ohhh, he made Kate Mulgrew realllly mad!

Sorry, so off topic.

On Stone Soup

@Captain DuClark "If you were in the wild, I would attack you, even if you weren't in my food chain. I would go out of my way to attack you. If I were a lion and you were a tuna, I would swim out in the middle of the ocean and freaking eat you and then I'd bang your tuna girlfriend."

On It's Really Not Just the Mormons

@kimdog Ah, bit of trivia, but it is not his singing voice- he was dubbed. But that blew my mind too- "OMG- it's SHERLOCK!"
