Thanks for posting this!
@Diana well said, thank you.
@HeckYes Dude, I kind of think it's the same way with home ec classes. Everyone needs to know how to cook at least a little bit!
@SmartCookie I like the interviewing because it's about a specific lady, not a hypothetical every-lady. Since we are all real people and none of us are hypothetical, I think it fits our demographic.
@Linette "...and most importantly, she was happy." Wow!
@maritimah my friend Matt has a joke he makes with words that end with "er". Like, if you say "is this Kosher?" he would say "kosher? I hardly know her!"
my best weird plane friend was a really wide-girthed older gentleman. He was fat, and I was skinny, so I decided to sit next to him because it's a full flight and I don't need all the extra room. By a funny coincidence, I was re-re-reading Jane Eyre and he was reading "the Eyre affair" by Jasper Fforde. We had a great time for our 1 hour and 20 minutes of friendship.
Shouldn't Jane be wearing....grey? She would NEVER wear a red dress! I object strongly.
I wear a unisex perfume--it's l'artisan navigateur. It smells like tobacco smoke, frankincense and spices. It has a funky gritty vibe, but is also sweet, in a blackish sort of way.
