On Talking to Heather Doney and Rachel Coleman About Child Abuse, the Quiverfull Movement and Homeschooling Policy Reform
This was a really interesting interview. Thanks to both Heather and Rachel for their work.
I would have loved to hear more about their personal stories, especially how Heather went from a pretty much non-existent education to attending grad school. (I'd also like to know if Heather's siblings have learned to read and what it's been like for them.)
@upupandaway Mine's a 2009 Versa hatchback, so car cousins?
@polka dots vs stripes I love Kate Spade Twirl (plus the bottle is pretty)
@upupandaway We have a Nissan Versa hatchback and it's dope. My best car buying tip is to test drive everything you like. I was also seriously considering a Mazda3 or a Honda Fit until I actually got into the cars. They just didn't feel right/bad sightlines/etc. Good luck!
I can't shake the feeling that both the song and the video are intentionally awful
I'm getting married one week from tomorrow! and my mommy is coming in town tomorrow to help with last minute tasks! and it's going to be so fun and I am not worried just very very excited. :D <3 :D
@cat o'clock (commenting to follow b/c i also cannot turn off the YOU ARE DYING STOP THIS NONSENSE)
So I accidentally cried a lot during work while watching the songs from this week's Glee, aka The Quarterback aka the saddest episode of anything I've ever seen and I've seen all of Grey's Anatomy.
@katiemcgillicuddy I don't watch hockey, but I know enough to appreciate this amazing goal:
also, it was his FOURTH goal of the game.
@Rookie (not the magazine) (not that there's anything wrong with that) maybe a minihand massage? Nothing too long or involved, but it always feels nice when someone does that for me.
