On Star Trek Into Darkness: Waiting for Superman

@Roxanne Desforges@twitter I am eternally grateful to you for sharing this. But seriously though, Abrams thought that little glimpse of Kirk's shoulder area while he's in bed with two lady-aliens "balanced out" the Alice Eve underwear shot? Really, Abrams?

On Star Trek Into Darkness: Waiting for Superman

Even worse, not-emotionally-compromised Khan was defeated by being punched a lot by emotionally-compromised Spock. What tomfoolery is this?? Still though, it was a fun movie with lots of nice explosions.

On "The tragedy of Obama's presidency is that he's too much of a Ravenclaw and not enough of a Gryffindor."

@adorable-eggplant YES I ALSO DO THIS! But don't make my mistake and download the audiobooks in French because the guy who does the voices in French is truly, hideously awful.

On "The tragedy of Obama's presidency is that he's too much of a Ravenclaw and not enough of a Gryffindor."

@Lisa Frank I think that makes him a Gryffindor, like how Harry totally used the Unforgiveable Curses in the last book and excused himself for it because he's one of the good guys so it had to be OK.

On My Foreign Mom

@glitterary Your comment just made me cry. The worst part is that my mother seems to think I'm a great daughter. She's flying in next week from another continent to visit me. I'm going to be so much better.
