Excellent list! :) it didn't get really funny for me until about halfway through, and then the accumulating absurdity of the people listed had me laughing on the train. (PS: not a diehard BC fangirl, but I do enjoy watching him act)
@E The customer reviews for that shirt are excellent.
My phone is also where I keep my favorite music, the books I'm reading, my social calendar, my notes of things I have to do, my alarm clock, my study flash cards, my flashlight for dark places, my cooking recipes, and so on, so yes, I absolutely have nomophobia... in fact this article is making me want to check on the whereabouts of my phone right now!
I seriously thought this meant "creepin" as in creeping on someone's photos or facebook profile... a sad reflection of my current mental state and my stalker levels of creepin' going on.
@DoucheyTwoShoes SO happy to find a fellow hater. That's right up there with "my greatest weakness is that I'm just too hardworking" as a bullshit interview answer...
I am not troubled by giant cockroaches- I squash them and forget about 'em five seconds later. They are almost benign.
What I hate are the small tiny German cockroaches, that are just the right size to crawl into your ear when you are sleeping, even if you are only nine years old and have very small ears, and that wake you up with a horrible scraping sound/sensation as they try to escape the wrong way out, basically scarring you for life, until you take a bath crying and wait for the drowned bug to eventually float out of your ear and hope you don't have to go to the hospital to extract it...
Nightmares forever, and I don't sleep on my back anymore but only my side because of this.
@ellochka Novia cybernetica... that's really cute! :) Congrats!

If you are interested in finding out more about Korean adoptees, and also want to find out more about the whys and hows of Korean adoption being so easy, this lady has a great tumblr: http://peaceshannon.tumblr.com/tagged/faqs
It’s a seminar with an instructor and a pointer and a screen in which students learn to read faces and interpret voices and also to stop making the assumption that lonely people seem prone to make, which is that every person they meet is judging or rebuffing them.
This part rang so very true to me. I could have used a seminar like this when I was a kid.
