@stuffisthings Men may not stalk each other, but they do often stalk women.
@parallel-lines: And women.
@Ophelia I made it about a third of the way into it before I gave up. The World's Fair stuff was interesting, but the parts about the killer were not tense or gripping at all. Serial killer books usually bore me a lot less than this one did.
@pterodactgirl Carmela has always had more agency than she is given credit for. I think that she knew on some level that Tony was running around on her. She was OK with turning a blind eye to it as long as he kept paying the mortgage and arranging for enough fur coats and diamonds to fall off of trucks.
@absofreakinglutely The Wire (and Deadwood, for that matter) is very close to the Sopranos in terms of epic storytelling, compelling characters and having intricate storylines and interwoven realms of influence. It's an excellent show and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
They were so good together. Whitecaps was one of the best-acted episodes of TV ever.
Sorry, but Katy Perry is the worst and her "music" makes my ears cry. And is that Elijah Wood? How does he not have better things to do?
@yeah-elle Exactly. Guys who need women to be less-than really creep me out. You should never have to dumb down your abilities for a guy.
"I love him, but he can’t love me because my body isn’t “perfect.”
What? No. No man worth your time would ever talk to you like that. Certainly no man who claimed to love you and had any idea what those words actually meant. DTMFA.
They seem to be talking about people who eat red meat way more than the average person does. The recommendation was to lower your intake to 2-3 servings/week.
