@tofuswalkman Al drops it into conversation in the first episode, seemingly innocently, but pretty obviously to divert Robin's attention from her criticisms of the way they're handling Tui's case. He asks how Robin's mom is recovering, and she assumes he means the cancer, and then he corrects her and mentions there was a "bit of a domestic" where a wall got punched, does that whole infuriating "I didn't realize she hadn't told you" bit.
Yesssssssss thank you so much for writing this!
This is the one show I will not shut up about, won't stop recommending to people, even months after I first saw it.
Ugh, I got called in to my second job of the day early, which means I have less time for a restorative nap in between. I'm also breaking out, about to surf the crimson wave, and I've been feeling gross and groggy all week. I keep having stress dreams! And #1 thing I don't want to think about is my best friend moving to another continent for six months to study abroad. I'm gonna miss her so muchhhhh, ugh.
I just wanna go home and have my mom feed me cookies! Because I'm a baby. A large, adult-sized, grown baby.
@adorable-eggplant SO GOOD. spot on.
@Anne Helen Petersen Yesssssss
Ugh, now I really want to see this.
Can we also talk about Top of the Lake, though? I spent like, a good few months talking to people about how good Top of the Lake is and now that 2013 is nearly over and I am thinking back to the stuff I liked most this past year: Top of the Lake! Top of the Lake! Top of the Lake! I kind of even want to rewatch it even though I know it will land me in a despair spiral, ahhh.
This is just to say that one time a friend and I were playing MadLibs, and we put in "Beyonce" for one of the noun spots. The resulting phrase was "live up to your Beyonce" and we have used it ever since.
Beyonce is truly living up to her Beyonce, ahhhh
I just want these to go on foreverrrr
@adorable-eggplant Oh yeah, neither do I. I just saw the video if him dancing on Tumblr and was like, OKAY THAT'S IT and I actually bought the episode on iTunes for $1.99, oops.
@I'm Right on Top of that, Rose GO YOU! Seriously, what a badass (and a soon-to-be mega-strong badass, too)!
