On Rigs to Drive to High School From 1996-2000, Ranked

I feel that #13's rank should be put into question...but maybe that's just because of hindsight and weird aesthetic taste?

On Finally, Some Endives for a Diva Like Me

Ugh I LOVE endives but every time I have to buy those (in the absence of gender neutral alternatives) I loathe myself a little...

On DC Comics Adds a Native American Teen Girl Superhero Based on Activist Shannen Koostachin

this is awesome. However, I think "Cree teen superhero" would have been a better title or, if necessary to lump the huge diversity of cultures together, "Aboriginal teen superhero"? I'm in not position to assign identity to anyone but I'm pretty sure that would be more appropriate. In Canada native can be associated with old racist discourse.

On Which of the "Three Personality Regions" in America Fits You Best?

I got temperamentally snowbound Vermont. I'm just across the way on the Canadian side. Those longitudinal groupings definitely apply across the border, though I don't know the maritimes enough..

On A Brief History of Polka Dots

LOVE THIS! I wish this were a series, and that the next installment would address the history of stripes.

On MØ - "Waste of Time"

This is good for post breakup bedroom dancing involving some dramatic air punches.

On Attack of the Yogurt-Ghost Bras

I don't particularly need the support of a bra when I'm not working out and hate feeling constrained in one (wrong size maybe?) so I was kinda giddy that french researchers suggest that my boobs probably won't be droopier in 15 years for not wearing one (vanity). I wish I were more comfortable being nipply in public...everyone IS staring disapprovingly right???
