On Three Deviled Eggs

When my brother and I were young, my mom made a platter of deviled eggs for a party. She left them out on the counter with a little McCormick's jar of paprika sitting by them. When she had her back turned, my six-year-old brother dumped the entire jar of paprika all over the eggs. "I wanted to make a joke. I wanted them to be spicy so one could eat them." D:

On We May Never Know the Toll of the Double Ponytail

My dad loves to say, of passing kids with long hair, "Hey look, is that an emo?" Or, "Look, emos."

@The Everpresent Wordsnatcher I haven't been sitting in my cubicle all day, whisper-singing it to myself, no.

@beanie Dan Humprhey playing Jeff Buckley is unacceptable. I can't live in a world where that is allowed to happen.

@beanie that IS saying a lot on Gossip Girl. She is directionless and useless and has bad posture.

Dan is ridiculous, but I can't take anymore of Chuck's duck/fish lips face.

@beanie how can you hate that? I love it. Mostly I just want Serena to leave. She and her scrunched up face can GTFO.

@boyofdestiny How irritating was the last episode?
Chuck and Blair again, really? Serena doing it with her "best friend's" boyfriend again, really?

On Aideah and Sophayden

@iceberg Thank you and PLEASE. My dad made one tiny spelling adjustment to my name, deviating from the commonly-accepted spelling of a very popular name for girls born in the 80s. And people don't misspell it on purpose, but really, if it isn't spelled right, it doesn't really feel like your name.

@Katie Aaberg@facebook Like why don't people think their daughters are good enough for Heaven spelled frontwards instead of backwards?

How about Trams. Smart, backwards.
