On The League of Ordinary Ladies: A New Year
I'm also real late on this one but I had to say ESTHER! I had my first ever break-up this year (in March, I think I'm just now actually for real all the way over it) plus a terrible friend break-up (maybe in June? but the long terrible fading process started a long time ago) PLUS I got a real tattoo in that same spot on my arm. My gums are okay though, I think.

My last break-up went relatively smoothly and despite not being at all mutual, there wasn't really any bad blood between us. I made him a really cool card last Valentine's day that I put a lot of work into, and lately I've been wondering whether it's okay to ask for it back. My mom says I can't. UGH she's probably right.

@Mere Ugh some guy in the grocery store yesterday said, "Excuse me, ma'am, I think you dropped your face." I think what I actually did was just stare at him in rage (f- flames, on the side of my face, breathing, heaving breaths), but in my mind I was screaming EXCUSE ME I THINK YOU CAN GO FUCK YOURSELF.
