I too know the shame of improperly concealed Anglophilia. I learned to reign it in after I freaked out my friend in Glasgow by recognizing Lorraine Kelly on a billboard. Oops.
This is indeed good tidings of great joy! I don't recommend Angry Boys. The american rap guy character was way cringe-y.
I went through security behind Chris Meloni at LaGuardia once. Definitely hot. I tried to unzip my boots in an alluring way but he didn't notice :(
@MissO I cried when I saw those too. SO SWEET.
Also, Jane- is that a groom's cake shaped like a box of donuts? Awesome.
I make a slurry with a couple tablespoons of masa harina and beer, and use it to thicken. It adds a nice layer of flavor too.

My brother and I sometimes say this to each other at times of personal crisis.
@Veronica Mars is smarter than me
I'm very late jumping into this thread, but I couldn't resist telling you that I am just now in a similar situation. I've expressed my fascination with the LDS church to my dude, and he ordered me a book of Mormon as a joke. On Saturday while we were out, two missionaries visited the house asking for me and spoke to my roommate. I know they're going to come back and I don't know how to break it to them that it was a joke. As uncomfortable as I am with evangelizing, I still feel terrible insinuating to them that their belief system is a joke to me. And I tend to be a people pleaser, so I'm also afraid I'll end up agreeing to take a book or go to a meeting, which I really do not want to do. UGH.
@PistolPackinMama @OhMarie - Ahhhh thank you both! I will try both of these suggestions. I have to start talking to some new dudes so I can stop boning my ex, who has now been my ex for longer than he was my boyfriend and we're still boning? Yikes.
I cannot get past the part where I have to describe myself. For some reason I find it paralyzing.
