On Let's Just All Talk About the Things That Bug Us About Harry Potter

Were there spamming owls? Advertising potions for the enhancement of certain "wands", etc?

On Let's Just All Talk About the Things That Bug Us About Harry Potter

If Mad-Eye Moody had basically X-ray vision, was he able to see through everyone's clothes? And did witches use tampons or magically took care of their periods?

On Do This No. 3: Help a Grieving Friend

I absolutely agree with you, in that case I wouldn't have asked either. I guess I mean that when you're close to the someone it's okay.
Thank you.

On Do This No. 3: Help a Grieving Friend

This might be just me, but: don't be afraid to ask.
Although I was a kid when my dad died, it was super weird when I met with friends, because I knew they wanted to know what&how happened, but they were afraid to ask. The best thing was when someone directly asked me about it, and I was able to load off. It's not rude, it shows that you care.

On Ask a Clean Person: The Stain Trifecta

The best and cheapest way (in my experience) to get rid of wine, coffee, ink and/or fruit stains is to soak the item in question in milk (only the stained part obviously) for a good 15 minutes (or more if the stain is larger, or been there longer). Of course this only works on fresh, or day-old stains.
