Going out tomorrow to watch the Champions League final, drink some daytime beer, probably follow that up with a schnitzel and then go dance/drink/hang out at a rooftop bar. Heck yeah, summer!

On The Wine Scout: Rosé State of Mind

Rosé is one of the most evocative styles for me. It just puts me in the mind of summer picnics and warm breezes. One of my favorites is Château du Rouët from Provence. You can recognize it easily because it has an hourglass-shaped bottle.

@Lumpy Space Princess: I'm in NYC, and our housekeeper is $60 per visit for our 1 bedroom apartment. She's the wife of one of the doormen, and she uses the spare key that the building has. She comes every two weeks and does a good basic clean, changes linens, etc. I generally leave extra money if I have a special request that will be more time-consuming than standard cleaning.

Sometimes I worry that paying someone else to clean makes me a bougie jerk, but it's really rather great. Especially coming home to a clean apartment after a long day.

On An Interview With Natural Deodorant Wizard Rachel Winard of Soapwalla

All right. I've been considering buying the Soapwalla deo cream for a couple months, but wanted to wait until my less-than-stellar Tom's ran out. But really, the Tom's (why did I buy the apricot scent?) does not do it for me. Here's hoping the Soapwalla works as well for me as everyone else.

On The 10 Other Reasons You Don't Have Abs

@mangosara I've not made creme brulee French toast from this recipe, but I've had a similar one before, and it is fantastic.

@The Everpresent Wordsnatcher Now that, is some french toast. Being ab-free never tasted so good.

On The 10 Other Reasons You Don't Have Abs

Abs, on a uber-tan muscle dude, look like a nice challah loaf. Which makes me want some in french toast form. Which is why I don't have abs.

On The 10 Other Reasons You Don't Have Abs

The embedded ad I see on the Men's Health page is for the Advanced Surgical Bodybuilding Institute of Beverly Hills. Is that supposed to be ironic?
