DALLAS!

We recently had a meet-up, organized by the lovely Leigh (whose screen name I don't know) and we're doing a book club in February. Don't know when. Soon. Join the list to be added! There are lovely redheads! And beer!

@whereismyrobot You know, I really wasn't that into the first season, though I watched the whole thing. But I absolutely LOVE the second season. The whole insane asylum angle really works for me, I think. It's zany and twisted and even though there are a million cliches, I think it's really well done. The cliches don't detract from the enjoyment.

Also, some of the actors from the first season are in the second season as totally different characters, which is cool.

@Jinxie Taking off bra + stiff drink = bliss

So, like everyone else around here my week's been kind of poopy BUT things are looking up! Not only is it Friday, but my roommate will be out of town for THE ENTIRE WEEKEND. No one will be home when I get home tonight and blissful solitude will be mine, all mine! And our beloved Jolie, Patron Saint of Bleach, will be so proud of me, because the first thing* I'm doing when I get home later is cleaning the hell out of my dirty-ass house.
*Well, ok, if we're being honest the very first thing I'm doing is taking off work clothes and bra and donning leggings and torn t-shirt, and the second thing I'm doing is pouring myself a stiff drink. So cleaning all the things is actually third on my list.

@whereismyrobot Maybe not! Well, I didn't purchase one, it was given to me as a Christmas gift. I don't get it at all.

@bocadelperro Gurl, you just go drop $1.98 on a Salux cloth and your problems will be solved. You can get 'em on Amazon for a little more, or at an Asian grocery/H-Mart type place if you have one of those nearby. They are the best thing ever.

I will defend the Naked 2 palate all.day.long. So good for every occasion. I use it for work, I used it for New Years. Like I actually get excited about opening mine every morning and being like "What should I put on my face today?! These are all high quality shades and none of them are off limits for my job but they are still exciting enough to wear out to drinks!" Not a dud in there. It is like finding the perfect little black dress in 10 subtly different shades.

Remember the bit in Chris Rock's Good Hair where they talk about people in India having their hair stolen??!!!?!! The hair industry can be so sketch.
