On The Cheap Wine Report

@S. Elizabeth Don't get me wrong, I love where I live, but whenever I visit my best friend in SF (precita park) I sigh over the fact that her corner store has local artisanal cheese and wine and fresh baked cupcakes delivered daily while my bodega at home sells Gushers and Tastycakes.

@lucy snowe on the modcloth site it's called the book club cutie dress, so maybe that's why?

On Interview With a Virgin: Bette

@RNL high five @ fellow "late bloomers." I ended up having sex at 25...was fortunate to date a boy who was also a virgin, so it was fun and freeing to figure it out together. I think you have to decide what feels right in the moment but you are under no obligation to tell if you'd rather not! You could always disclose later if ya wanna.

Using a penetrating vibe is not making you not a virgin! That's as silly as people who don't use tampons cuz they think you're not a virgin any more if you do. By all means, experiment...one of the good things for me about waiting was that I knew my body so much better and how to get off, etc than I would have if I'd had sex at 16. Anyway, amazon has great deals on lelo vibes and I can't recommend them highly enough. Something like this is a great investment. One of the things I like to do when I'm single is still recognize myself as a sexual person and take time for that part of myself and nurture it. Solo sex can be awesome (and still is an important part of my life even though I'm currently in a relationship)!

On Dogs, Babies, and the Process of Learning to Generalize

@Poubelle Yes. Technically, anything that comes from a flower is a fruit. So that includes peppers, zucchini, tomatoes, eggplant, and many other vegetables.

On Enjoy the Range of Dog-Based Emotions

I got my puppy when I was living in Ecuador working as a peace corps volunteer. I knew I wanted to get a dog while I was there because otherwise I would have been so alone! The day I moved in with my host family, I woke up in the morning and heard puppies crying. They had been born that night. I picked out my favorite over the next week or so. While we were in Ecuador we would take 15-hour bus rides to go to the beach, and since I lived in a town where no one had a car he was free to roam around and make his own friends (he would disappear for the morning and come back covered in mud with the rest of the farmers returning from their fields, stuff like that). He came home to the US with me and has adapted into a great city dog. I love him!

On He Also Recommends Using a Kitchen Timer

@redheaded&crazie I think it might be possible for me to come from g-spot only but it hasn't happened thus far. I have ejaculated from the combo of g-spot and clit though! I was so excited I felt like a sex gold medalist or something and I wanted to tell the world.
