This was wonderful. Thank you for sharing something so intimate.
I feel like your birthday parties would be extra fun because they would be Halloween parties and everyone loves those! Great story :).
I liked Fiona before Extraordinary Machine, but it was really that [unreleased] album that made me love her. This album lives in the same special place in my heart that The Postal Service's Give Up, Garden State's soundtrack, and Coldplay's A Rush of Blood to the Head - all of that wonderful music of 10 years ago.
On Lorde talks online "cleanliness," subtweeting and new luxuries ("I'm gonna buy a double bed. I'm just gonna do that")
I HEART HER SO HARD.
ALL OF THIS. YES.
Congratulations to Cassidy! & great interview as always, Jia :D.
@StandardTuber THIS. RIGHT HERE.
This really took me back to being an awkward preteen, which is a feeling that's hard to invoke because it's one I try to forget! Loved this.
I went to Girl Scout day camp and also make God's Eyes. :D
I <3 Gaby Hoffmann, and I am glad that she is around and is still awesome!
I got The Chaperone from a Kindle daily deal because it sounded interesting, and I ended up absolutely loving it. I got completely sucked into the story, into the time period, all of it. I had never heard of Orphan Trains before and I was so intrigued.
Thanks for the excellent interviews, AHP! I am definitely moving Laura Lamont's Life in Pictures up on my to-read list!
