@Jade: IDing magic items was pointless, may as well be able to do it in the field. Since town portal scrolls were so plentiful anyway, it wasn't like you couldn't get any. They do have that time delay so you can't ninja vanish out.

@Lucienne: When Mulder and/or Scully leave the show, just stop watching. Well, the first time is just her having her baby. But once Robert Patrick shows up, bail.

Last day at work! Putting in your notice is like getting the star in Mario. Big, fat unused PTO time check, ding! I am unemployed for the weekend.
I've been hanging out with the rider girl consistently but it is solid friend zone, which I'm okay with. We're going to the track again in June, so that'll be another 12 hours drive time to hang out.

@Awesomely Nonfunctional: Actually this is really interesting, on a sociological level. Perhaps, as 'cheesecake' was in the more puritanical and restrained 50s, the smiling was a sort of knowing nod to what was really selling, without coming out and saying it. Like, 'pretend sexy'. Actual bedroom eyes may have been too real for the material at the time. Of course, then, that style has had it's own impact that has continued on, and in a way, has sort of progressed through a wheel of 'genuine' then 'outmoded' then 'ironic' and back into 'genuine'. I dunno, I think it actually gets pretty deep! Fun stuff to think about.

@Megano!: Where do corgis store all their poop? I can't do as much as they do and I weigh x 7. If I walked my friend's corgi long enough, he would produce four piles, from oldest to freshest.
