Even though I think that the Franzen ragging has less to do with his age and more to do with how he has wrote about women in a recent piece... @Rose Camelia Thanks for the hugs and the Internet Drinks! It's funny how knowing someone well for a long time doesn't necessarily mean they are a good friend. Figured that if I always feel slightly sad or depressed after conversations, it can't be a great sign.

I GOT THE JOB! I will be moving to DC in November. It's related to health policy (yay!) and the team seems wonderful (double yay!). Now I just need to find housing and that's been a tiny bit stressful. (I have to interview... for housing?) So happy to be out of the unemployed limbo, though.
And thanks to the Pinners who gave the Boston recs last open thread. I'll definitely be relying on them when I go next week!
The bad? I realized that someone I thought was one of my best friends actually negs the things I like pretty often.
