On "Maybe I needed to prove that I'm wife material. If he wanted 300 sandwiches, I’d give him 300 sandwiches"

Because I can't think about this any longer, I'd like to direct you all to Stately Sandwiches instead. Or, not instead, but rather as a palate cleanser?

On What's the Best Song to Have Sex To?

"Heartbeats" by The Knife is a good foreplay/dry hump song, imho

On Deep Thoughts I Had While Watching the One Direction Documentary

I've only ever heard a couple of songs by 1D, and I generally avoid them, but I also say "Louis Tomlinson is my boyfriend" a lot, so I'm not sure where I fall on the 1D fan spectrum. Related: Not enough Louis in this write-up.

On What Were the Names of Your High School Tribes?

"Young Lifers" were the super-Christian kids and also the most popular in my small, central IL high school. A lot of them were also upper-middle class which might be somewhat significant.

"Band kids" were actually the second most-popular, based on sheer numbers. I fell more into this group, despite not being in band, because I was president of chorus and drama club (which I suppose are band-adjacent enough).

Also, "SCENE KIDS"!!!! RIGHT?

Their parents played with them at their Lolla aftershow, too! It was so, so great and good.
