Yes. I spent the summer of 1989 memorizing the B-52's album "Cosmic Thing" because my parents would play it on repeat during road trips. Also, at the pool (after belting out "Love Shack" in the backseat with my brother and cousins), my girl cousin and I would have an Ariel contest, to see who could best do the best rendition of her singing on the rock (you know the part).
I also spent a considerable amount of the year mending fences for the first time. That was not so fun.
