On Auto-Antonyms, "Awesome" and Other Unusable Words

@LilRedCorvette It's interesting that you say this. I have distinct memories of telling my mom that the words just "tasted good together" when she would ask why I chose to use a particular word or sentence in papers/stories, or how I did so well on reading comprehension/grammar tests. To me, it was the only way to describe it. Synesthesia! It's real! (Also: words...om nom nom...)

On Auto-Antonyms, "Awesome" and Other Unusable Words

@Clare I second this, especially as it relates to fashion: "she had a carefully curated wardrobe." NO SHE DID NOT. It bothers me every time I read it.

On Mutya Keisha Siobhan, "Royals" (Lorde Cover)

@fallopian princess Ah. Thank you! I'm just of the persuasion of at least listening to some songs before purchasing. But there are other links here, so I'll start there!

On Mutya Keisha Siobhan, "Royals" (Lorde Cover)

Alas, the link to Lorde's full album no longer work. Or, the link does, but you can't stream the full album anymore. *sob*

On My Late Adolescent Poetry, Translated Into Plain English

@notpollyanna Oh god, I desperately want to read a sonnet explaining evolution. That sounds marvelous.

On Drinking Up and Sitting Down With the Men's Men at the Nashville Whiskey Festival

@kfizz Haha, my short, stubby self sighed a bit at that. Oh, to be taken seriously. *half-heartedly shakes fist*

On What I Learned From Reading The Economist

@Miss Maszkerádi That is exactly how I feel as well. I'm so glad others are on the same page, and yet sad that we're all there, too, because that means our concerns are valid. I...I like joie de vivre...
