@Miss Maszkerádi I'm a 24-year-old virgin, and when some new friends of mine found out they were shocked, SHOCKED! Like, actually gasped, which undid some of the work of convincing myself that it's not a big deal. After talking about it for a little while, one of them turned to me and said, "Well, I guess you'd might as well just wait for the right guy now." She had lost hers at something like 15 to a boy she later regretted, so from her that advice made sense. And yeah, I've waited this long, what's a little longer to make it the kind of experience I want, with a guy I want? We only owe it to ourselves.
7. My name is also Meredith, and in high school I went on a weeklong trip to Ottawa with a bunch of other kids from across Canada. There was another girl there from Quebec named Marie Edith, and it look us a good 3 days to figure out what was going on and whose name was actually being called during attendance.
I remember I used to play in front of the TV while my mom watched "her stories" and when I put my dolls down, pointed at one of the characters, and declared "I know what he is! He's a... a bastard!" she just laughed (while looking kind of horrified). But to her credit, she didn't let me watch South Park with the rest of the family until I was in junior high.
It was glorious in its heyday. Posts like this, several times a day. Sometimes with puppies!
So, uh, after the 2008 election I was a member of a White House fan group on LiveJournal (and am only a little embarrassed about that!) which is why I still have a folder full of photos like this on my hard drive:
