Wonderful interview. My older son is 3 1/2 years old and I can't imagine only getting to see him for an hour a day; having him taken from me at this age. I'm so glad to hear that Philomena is using her story to tackle adoption reform, and I am definitely adding this book to my to-read list!
Had this happen once while taking hydrocodone. Flushed the pills down the toilet the next morning.
I suffered terrible migraines when I hit puberty, usually 1-2 a month. They petered out in my early 20s, and I rarely have them now. I was lucky in that they seem to affect most of the women in my family from around 12 to 22 years old, so my otherwise "suck it up" mother was generally sympathetic. Sucked when I started working though.
@Inkling My #1 on that thread would just say: Jareth
@LongTimeListenerFirstTimeCaller OMG that was the only one on this list that I knew and it TERRIFIED ME. I was like 10 when my parents took me to see that. I'm 27 now, and still terrified of microscopes, telescopes, binoculars, you name it!
On Ask Santa
wow just make me cry why don't you. merry christmas everyone!
My dad is huge into rocks and fossils and all sorts of (wonderfully) dorky stuff like that. A few years ago, Mom bought him some crazy expensive rock tumbler, and I cannot remember the last time I walked into their garage and didn't hear that thing whirring.
@tea for all Then I am very jealous of you. That girl's hair is GORGEOUS.
@planforamiracle Yep that's Henry. Passed out on the way home from a Cabela's trip with his daddy, if I remember correctly.
Yay my kiddo made it! Love the overalls & weed-eater combo (does anyone else call it a weed walloper? just my dad? ok)
