Sobriety Update: Five months as of Wednesday. I'm noticing subtle differences in my body and my mind, as in, I can remember words and conversations and board trains of thought for days at a time. It still sucks not being able to be drunk with my friends (especially at weddings) but I'm stubborn about it now.

It is gloriously autumnal in DC today, and should be for most of the weekend. Hooray fall!
@rimy Wellllllll, my dude and I consistently used the pullout method for 7 years with great success. And then one day, no success. And now we have a teeny tiny baby. But hey, one failure in 7 years is still pretty good!

@rimy ME TOOO (like, to everything. 3 years relationship, pull out, all the time) My gyno said it was fine, so +('.'+) to all the haters (okay sorry, I'm being silly, but I'm just happy someone else admitted it. ha)
First Ask a Glutton and now this?
Ask a Glutton is great and I completely love it.
@Dandyliongirl Yes! More Ask A Glutton, please!
Everything about this post and it's comments is amazing! I could talk about food forever.
No one wil likely read this, but I just wanted to say how much I LOVE it when my two loves, food and the Hairpin, intersect. I feel like I get all my best food inspiration from these kinds of comment sections!
Also, the mental image of a person making a pie to weepy country music reminds me of how David Sedaris mentions that his boyfriend Hugh used to spend all his time staying in, crying and making apple pies and listening to George Jones. D'aww.
Please, this feature, often! Thank you!
