*waves* Such a lovely bunch of people here. I've been lurking for a while and will likely continue to do so. I like German microphones, Irish Whiskey and short walks on the beach.
You had me at "[a] thick, red man falls out of a door." This is lovely and I hope you are feeling better.
@Lush Life Oh, HTML, you...
All the Brussels Sprouts love here is fantastic!
In an effort to eat healthy but not bland food, I've been experimenting with vinegar and veggies.
Can't remember the specific recipe but these two have similar ideas for a zesty side dish:
Sugar Snap peas With Lemon Mint Vinaigrette
Bacon & Balsamic Glazed Snap peas
Warm balsamic over asparagus topped with a dusting of slightly melted Parmigiano-Reggiano is also yummy.
The rock geek in me had a tiny titter over the Clapton necklace being auctioned by Bonham's (sorry Ginger).
Oh, how I love these posts.
Thank you for sharing! They are all full of love. And my favorite is the one of you with the lady in the blue dress because faces.
@lavender gooms Forever. And. Ever. *sigh*
@cinnamonskin GUMBO PARTY!! (I am so absolutely kidding.)
@maybe partying will help The Magnolia Grill in New Orleans used to* have two kinds of pecan pie: with or without chocolate chips. And when one orders WITH (because, duh) and "warmed", that piece of pie is placed on a hot, buttered flat-top until the chocolate gets melty. And it is heavenly.
* Since the restaurant closed, re-opened and moved, I do not know if this is still true. But in my dreams it is.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Smiley! Thanks for this.
@Yolanda and Steve Ooooh. Thank you!
