@Nicole Cliffe Don't forget. "Also, during Business Time, we wear only our Business socks" (Flight of the Concords anyone?)

@flimflannery I feel that way sometimes, as do most people I think. I was complaining to a friend a while ago that I don't get hit on at bars and she said, "Well, do you make eyes?" And I thought about it, and I don't! I'm shy about extended eye contact with strangers. So I tried it. The first time I made eye contact with a guy from across the bar, smiled a little, and looked away (maybe threw a second glance), he came over and and talked to me, yada yada yada we went out a few times. So maybe give it a try if you don't already.

@buckachu I don't think you should worry! Sleeping together just means you're both attracted to each other, not that it's all over! I haven't been on an OKCupid date but I'd say treat it like anything else. Maybe wait another day or two then shoot him a casual text? I like to think up a fun activity, like an exhibit opening or some fun event, and then invite someone to it. It's somehow less pressure, because it's a thing that you're interested in doing they can choose to attend or not, rather than some vague hanging out or whatever. But be direct so it doesn't become some kind of hook up thing (aka "what are you up to?" texts at midnight). Remember, he wouldn't BE on OK Cupid if he wasn't interested in finding new people, and going on dates.

@honey cowl It's an award through my school, actually. Thanks for the encouragement!

@blueberry mary I get crushes on everybody all the time. Like, people on the subway, for example. "The best way to get over somebody is to get under somebody else" as they [probably no one] say...

So, I just found out I'm a finalist for this award, and I'm really excited but also really nervous. I'm interviewing next week. It's basically a lot of money to travel abroad after college graduation, and I really, really want it! Any interview tips? I've never applied or been accepted for a grant for award before, so I don't know what the process will be like.

@Helvetica For me it's: "Do I need to lower my standards to find anyone in this city?" then "Hell no, they're low enough!" hahaha

@Megasus Please define "pantsfeels." It seems like a word I would want to incorporate into my vocabulary.
