@chickpeas akimbo I didn't find her unlikeable either! I want to be on her team.
@Rookie (not the magazine) (not that there's anything wrong with that) The picture of Edith Piaf was the best.
@Mae YES. I will join you.
@codi_cathleen I wax, both because you DON'T get those red bumps like from shaving, and also because I'm lazy, and you don't have to do it very often. I usually go once a month, and if you do it multiple times, some of the hair stops growing back, so it hurts less and it doesn't even really look like any hair is growing until a couple weeks in. So it's about half smooth time, half with a bit of hair. If you're committed to smoothness constantly, it might not be the best option.
@emsiela I feel the same way-- the brinier the better. The only olives I don't like are those canned, pitted monstrosities. Those are only for sticking on your fingers and then throwing at people.
@beatrixkiddo1 You sound frighteningly like me.
Music festivals. Eating cupcakes.
Not everyone in a relationship only agrees to travel with a significant other! My boyfriend and I have been together for years, but I just went to South America last month with a female friend. Spending quality time with friends is important.
On Which Name Is Weirder, Saxby Chambliss or Barkevious Mingo? The Answer May Tell You Whether or Not You're Racist
@j-i-a I once heard the Lemonjello and Oranjello story and naively believed it, sadly-- but in my defense (if that's even possible), I was picturing the children as white and there was no "ghetto" suggestion.
I'm pretty sure I'd be one of those dictatorial restaurants where you don't get to choose what to order and they yell at you if you try to make some substitutions. But if you can handle all that, then whatever is eventually served to you is delicious.
