You guys, recently my mom found my old Kirsten doll and her various accessories and outfits, and I'M SO TORN with what to do with it. I kind of want to sell it, as I could really use the money. But I also had to listen to my mom's stories about how she cleaned houses to earn extra money so I could get this awesome Christmas present. AND THIS POST IS BRINGING UP ALL SORTS OF AMERICAN GIRL RELATED MEMORIES. AHHHH!
@rachelrachel Coming here to ask the same question! Kirsten FOREVER.
Well this is the cutest damn thing ever.
@OhMarie I totally understand what you're saying. For me, I loved the murder mystery and BOB weirdness...but other storylines fall flat. The Ben Horne/lumber mill stuff is something I was tempted to fast forward through. So, it might not be worth finishing if it's rubbing you the wrong way already.
@lorenzo As long as your turkey doesn't move around and gush blood, I think you're good.
@olivebee Oooh I'm curious, what documentary?
I really don't mind being a vegetarian on Thanksgiving, as it gives me an excuse to eat my weight in mashed potatoes...but OOOOH MAN I wish I could eat every single thing in that Food52 link.
@Harbinger of Something I have something even worse. Everytime I saw an old black and white family photograph, I thought people back then didn't have color. Like they lived in a world of grayscale? I can't even imagine my mom's disappointment as she had to explain it to me.
@SuperGogo Well this is right up my alley..."Why does everything you wear look like it's bearing a grudge, darling?"
