@sarah girl Oh, man, Redwall books. I absolutely cannot read those books on an empty stomach.
@anachronistique I did! I was just looking at it the other day, in fact.
@anachronistique my senior portrait was also taken in a sheep pasture. I had ones taken professionally, but they all apparently violated my school's very strict dress code, so I had my mother take a picture of me in the pasture for the yearbook.
@Elsajeni my mom's ancient food processor is a robot coupe from before they started labeling them as cuisinarts in the states.
@Anne Helen Petersen UMPH, white pick-up trucks. White pick-ups are for summer flings
My grandma's signature dish is anything with booze in it, pretty sure. Actually though, I probably associate raw oysters with her more than anything else.
@Tragically Ludicrous I love drop, but then I'm half-Dutch.
@Daisy Razor There's a couple of gelato places in Vancouver that serve durian sorbet, which is the only form I've ever tried durian in. It's not too bad if you hold your breath, but not what I want as a dessert.
My sister was on Kosrae for three years, and would always say that the Pohnpei volunteers had a lot more available to them. I love looking at the pictures, they remind me of the time I was able to visit Kosrae.
On Ranch Life
@Ophelia My parents kept their sheep in the same pasture as their goats. That was an interesting contrast in brainpower.
