@miss buenos aires Not studying, sadly, but full-time parenting in Germany where my husband has a fellowship. It was a good opportunity, but one that we planned on before the kiddo was in the picture. Travelling with a toddler is ROUGH.
This is my last weekend of a mostly miserable year abroad. Four more days till I return to Canadaland! I will be able to communicate with most everyone! I will know what things are called and how to use more than 3 verb tenses! I am so pumped to protest against the horrible autocratic conservative government, to get all my crap that has been in storage, and to hang with much-missed friends again. Repatriation ahoy!
@muddgirl What is this "body awareness" of which she speaks?
As someone who has never been able to turn a cartwheel, I think all gymnasts are tops.
@Emmanuelle Cunt This is definitely an option for when I am done with babies, for the one or two pieces that did not come from Old Navy. Unfortunately, it requires knowing when I am done with babies. Hey brain! A heads-up on this topic would be much appreciated.
I usually practise a lot of self-restraint with clothing purchases, but 18+ months of changing weight and bust sizes (pregnancy, post-partum, nursing, post-nursing, gah) have done a number on my wallet while failing to increase the number of clothes that I can wear in consistent rotation. At least if I get pregnant again, or gain 35-40 pounds for some other reason, I know that I have clothes that will fit all the way there? :C
@Monkey How about that terrible excuse for a movie adaptation that was made a few years ago?
@[redacted]@twitter Wood, bronze, iron, water, fire, stone.....
@The Lady of Shalott Those panoramic shots were seriously amazing! I kept saying to my husband, "How are they filming this?!" but he was all, "Shhhhh! Look at their form!" Thank you, violently athletic husband.
