On Beauty Q&A: Remember Crystal Gayle?

@This is my new username
From Wiki: "Intense pulsed light, describes the use of intense pulses of non-coherent light distributed over a range of wavelengths from 500 nm to 1200 nm, for removal of hair and other purposes.[1] A related but distinct technique is laser hair removal; the primary difference is that laser treatment uses laser-generated coherent and monochromatic light."
That means nothing to me, but they are definitely different. I recommend IPL!

On Beauty Q&A: Remember Crystal Gayle?

@Nicole Cliffe I have tried all of the hair removals and my enthusiastic vote is actually for IPL (I am pale with dark hair). It is fantastic if you can find it in your area. Second best is electrolysis IMO, laser hair removal can stimulate hair growth in previously unhairy places (don't say I didn't warn you).

On A Conversation About Books and Money

@sophduck Agreed. It's like that Elizabeth Cline book Overdressed but for books. It's the system, like @stuffisthings said.

@Inkling I always wonder why those Anne Geddes books are popular. I don't have any answers though.
