@RubeksCube If it's just a mild intolerance, pop a lactaid pill before you eat dairy and you'll probably be fine.
@soundofglass Maybe a really nice jar of preserves/marmalade/pickles? Or chocolate is always good.
Is there a name for that feeling when you've been a lifelong Democrat and completely for higher taxes, and then you start working your first full-time job and get your first paycheck and see how much was taken out of it and go brb voting Republican?
I mean, I still believe higher taxes are necessary, but the things I could do with that $250!
Wait what was the vote they just voted on?
@RK Fire I believe her filibuster is not quite over, because they're trying to get the chair to repeal the decision to uphold the decision to sustain the point of order. If they do, they'll vote on whether to sustain or not, and then vote to end the filibuster.
No, why is this happening?
@darklingplain "I want to encourage everyone here to go home today and write their mamas to thank them for being pro-life, or else they wouldn't be here today!" Brb writing my mom and thanking her for being hardcore pro-choice and taking me to march in a pro-choice protest when I was twelve. And I know she had me and my brother and sister because she wanted children and was ready to have children, not because she felt obligated to.
Wow, the guy talking now isn't even trying to pretend that he doesn't just want to stop abortions.
@darklingplain Oh, and "dating a pregnancy is hard," apparently. Thanks, that definitely means you should make more regulations based on pregnancy dates!
Now he's saying that there are "many" abortions taking place in Texas far past the point of viability for no other reason than because they're not wanted. Which I'm pretty sure has been disproven higher in the comments.
