@elizabeast I know someone who did that, too! Everyone was like, "Well, that's weird." She's still highly regarded, though. People are like, "Yeah, she faked cancer for awhile, but she's talented otherwise." Ummm, that seems like it would be a major red flag. How does that not bleed into other areas of your life?

@olivebee Thank you! They think it's a treatable cancer, but it's already jumped onto at least 3 organs, which is scary stuff. I hope your coworker heals quickly as well!

@curiouscamel Yes! I've used it for Barcelona & Istanbul. Both experiences were PERFECT. Seriously, we had the best time & were so glad we got apartments instead of hotels/hostels.

Weirdest week ever: I got a new job! At a museum! I'm sooo excited! I start in 9 days!
Then, yesterday we found out my sister's husband has cancer. And they have a 2 year old & are 4 months pregnant with another. Sure makes you think about what's important, etc. In 1 week my life has gone bonkers.

@cmonster We went out to a bar after the show, & my sister & I ended up paying for all the drinks. Throughout the evening, one of us would start telling a story & Matt would be like, "Oh, this one time..." and just totally change the subject back to himself. They were just super self-centered, it seemed. Gross.
