On Girl Talk: Garrus
@lavender gooms Ugh, he's like that even if you tell him it is NOT okay to come up with cute little nicknames for a woman who outranks him to a staggering degree on every conceivable axis of command. HER name was Lola, asshole; she was a DANCER.

Proverbs 31? The one about the two-income household?
"She considers a field and buys it;
out of her earnings she plants a vineyard."
"She sees that her trading is profitable,
and her lamp does not go out at night."
"She makes linen garments and sells them,
and supplies the merchants with sashes."
People sure are dumb.

I have a very strict "no family" policy, and it has served me well. Heck, the only people who are even puzzled by it are my aunts, and that's only because they have a near-total lack of self-awareness.

@TheBourneApproximation BioWare has some weird off-putting romances mixed into their generally great track record, though. Zevran? Liara? Blech.
That said how am I the first to mention Tali? TAAALLLLIIIII BE MY ALIEN SPACE BRIDE

On Coworking From Afar
I was trying to decide what the man-version of "wifed" would be, because that is how my brain works. "Husbanded" is awkward, and "spoused" sounds like something that happens later that night, IF YOU TAKE MY MEANING. So I'm just going to go with "man-wifed." It's like "lady doctor," but feminist.
