@alejoalene Oh, great! I'll be in town then, would love to meet up. I created an email id so I can post it in public (I'm paranoid about being identified too), it's email@example.com. Send me an email and I'll reveal my super secret id. :-)
@Miss Maszkerádi Ah, 40+ sounds awful. I'm from the tropics and yet this weather's getting to me too. Have to keep reminding myself how miserable last winter was to feel grateful for all the sun now.
@Miss Maszkerádi Thanks! You were in Prague? I hope you had fun and didn't melt in the heat. :-)
@alejoalene Ahoj! I'm in Prague, no Czech affiliation though. Do you have an email id I can reach you at?
On Thank You So Much For Being With Me Tonight to Celebrate My Twenty-Five-And-Twelve-Month Birthday
Ha! I loved this. My 25th birthday started out with a biopsy, and the rest of the year was as horrendous as it could be, so I declared a do-over of that year, and decided to turn 25 again the next year. Except, (surprise!) the next few years were also crappy, and I forgot. Seeing as I just turned 30, maybe I should have that do-over this year.
50% Getting coffee because I don't have time to drink coffee at home because I always have to be on time (it's a disease).
50% Reading my book, because my friends are always late, and I'm well-prepared.
@KeLynn I read that as "I pooed on a napkin" and thought it was some ballet thing I've never heard of, although I didn't know of the tissue-eating thing, either.
@iceberg Just wanted to say I always enjoy reading your comments here, not only for the adorable Bergy Bits' stories, but because you are always so thoughtful and kind to everyone, especially if they're going through a tough time (including me). I am sorry to hear you've been having a rough time, hugs!
What a gorgeous voice.
100% Dislike being around other human beings 24/7.
So well written and evocative. I wish I could write like this.
@sarah girl You're not the only one, I'm 30, no kids and not into the bar scene, either. I've whined about not being able to make friends in my city many times on the 'Pin. After reading that article I looked up Meetups in my city and there is one, but I am terrible with big groups of people, so I don't know if I will ever work up the nerve to go.
