@RNL Canada theme? MAPLE everything!!!
I wish I had a recipe for you, but I hate maple haha (I hope the government isn't on their way to revoke my passport/kick me out of the country for saying that)
I used to get Renee Zellweger when Bridget Jones' Diary first came out. Now I get Jennifer Morrison from Once Upon a Time. I'm okay with that!
@Emby Cooking a traditional Jewish dinner one night sounds like it could be good Mom/girlfriend bonding!
@redheaded&crazie If you have Rogers, I think HBO is now available On Demand. If you don't subscribe to The Movie Channel, you can still watch HBO shows, but for a fee. I think it's something like $6 for 3 half-hour episodes.
@This is my new username I was on Marvelon for about 7 years before my body decided it had enough and started having a period every other week! Now I'm on Tricyclen and crossing my fingers. I hope Marvelon works for you, I really liked it and wish I didn't have to switch!
@anachronistique I can Dere-lick my own balls!
@Elleohelle The guy who played Toby (I think that was his name, JD's friend with glasses?) works for the same company as me! I have yet to see him, though
My favourite note is the card from the first boquet of flowers my boyfriend sent me. We work together, and we were trying to keep on dating on the down low at first, so he didn't want to sign his name as the flowers were being delivered to me at work. So instead, he wrote "Love, Clive Warren" as we had watched a bunch of Ricky Gervais after our first date. It's currently on my fridge.
woohoo Feb 12 birthdays!!!!
@Cat named Virtute you are not a disaster or a failure! I went through something similar about a year ago. Shit will get better. If you're stressed about subletting - do you live in a city with a University? Because there will be a ton of students looking for Aug move-ins. Maybe while you're watching GG, rearrange all your furniture or go on a cleaning frenzy (cleaning makes me feel better when I'm super stressed) and take a bunch of pics and write up a funny ad to post online for renters? Like "Hi new student! You don't know your new city - so why don't you rent my place until you figure out where you want to live for your schooling?!"
Other than that, I found lots of walks helped (with lots of music) and writing when my head got too crowded with thoughts.
