Small bird, often lonely, often full of joy. Mostly books, but sometimes food.
Completely splendid article.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I was already crying and now I'm crying more. This series has been perfect. Proper 'Pin stuff.
Natalie Eve Garrett, you're my favourite.
YES YES YES THAT LAST PARAGRAPH
SO EXCITED I HAVE ACTUALLY LOGGED IN TO THIS DORMANT ACCOUNT
Such an amazing post I had to log in to comment. I only just realised that my chronic health condition/medication side-effects might have an affect on my career path, and it's a very weird feeling.
Also, having spent Friday-Monday lying in a dark room whimpering, I feel you, and sympathy.
This made me laugh and laugh a lot.
@iceberg THEY STOLE ASK A BERGY BIT WITHOUT ACTUALLY ASKING A BERGY BIT? You guys. I am CANCELLING my SUBSCRIPTION.
(That last sentence is probably funnier if you read Private Eye. Which...none of you do, obviously, because America, and Private Eye being the last paper on Earth to have no web presence.)
@Rookie (not the magazine) (not that there's anything wrong with that) Wait, what? You've just shattered my mind, how do you pronounce "park" if not "pahk"? ACCENTS ARE AMAZING.
I'm SO glad we're doing more mum-interviews! This one was really great. Roxane, your mum is clearly amazing.
