@victorian rose As an RF Engineer I feel obligated to post this cause I find it so hilarious.
@adorable-eggplant "Winter lovin, happened so fast"
Doesn't quite have the same ring to it.
Really? Didn't realize nerd culture was still stigmatized to that much of an extent. You'd think "Bilbro's" friends were joining the KKK with the amount of heat that was coming off that letter.
Seriously though, give it a try a few times, it may not be your thing but maybe you'll actually enjoy it. To add to the Freaks and Geeks episode, I've heard good things about this episode of community: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1824317/
@blueberry mary I'm somewhat torn on this, as the "This is pretty good" thought has led me both into a relationship that lasted 3 years instead of the 3 months it should, and also led me to the person I married and love wholeheartedly.
I'd say if after a month or two (or three?) of dating you're not feeling strongly yet, then maybe cut it off before it leads to mediocrity.
This guy is awesome, too bad that in the US this would probably put a felony on his record.
@Rookie (not the magazine) (not that there's anything wrong with that)
They'll be reelected regardless because they're from states that always vote republican, and the party won't pull them out for following party lines.
@coolallison The one thing I really remember from Denver is HBurger at the end of the 16th street mall made one of the best burgers I've ever had. Also eating at Earl's on the open air section that overlooks the mall street. Earl's is on the pricey side of things while H burger is what you'd expect from a place with burger in the name. Oh and theres a great sit down pizza place/bar that has a shroom based name that I forget. Good pizza though (coming from a east coaster to get your pizza frame of reference)
Apparently I didn't do much outside of eat, it was a business trip though.
Hong Kong is a really great place for city photography because its really amazing how they cram so many people into such a tiny space. Also, the juxtaposition of the water, and some massive apartment building on an otherwise tree lined steep hill makes for some fun photos.
@adorable-eggplant My catchphrase in college after yelling it out drunk on whiskey one night was "I have the violence in me!" (note at no point did I actually start fights, I was just belligerently whiskey drunk)
So yeah, that quote is super accurate, and it was definitely the latter.
