On Friday Open Thread
@M. A. Peel I have a female friend though who wasn't diagnosed until her early twenties, when she found that she was struggling a lot in university. It sounds like she was a lot like you, functioning adult but there were some things she would like to be less challenging. You seem like you're pretty leery of medication, but she found it helped her a lot.
I feel like the first thing is to get a diagnosis from a doctor (it sounds like you haven't done that yet) because really you can't do anything without that. Once you're diagnosed and after that they can probably give you some guidance where to go from there... and you can choose whether or not you want to pursue any sort of treatment.
Medication is expensive, but you can always do a sort of trial run, and if the benefits aren't worth the money you stop, right? And I'm sure there's other options. Anyways that's just how I feel about it!

On Face Moles, "Perfection," and Shifting Dynamics
@josiah I have five chicken pox craters on my face, and quite a few on my body. I don't even notice them when I look in the the mirror anymore, but every once in a while an asshole will give me an opinion on what they think they are. Whateeveeeerrr though I like them.

Mann there's a lot of negative response in this thread to the way these people answered or are dressed. Like that one guy readily admits, I think a lot of these people are drunk, and being put on the spot with a question like this with a few drinks in you it's probably a little difficult to form a good answer.
Also I hate the term hipster, and I think dressing ridiculous is a good way to have fun. They're just out at an art related party, where dressing odd is totally acceptable, I don't see how it makes them assholes.

Haha I loveeeeeeee period sex. The best sex I've ever had has been on my period. I've actually never really had a problem with stains as long as I lay down the special red towel I have for the occasion aha. I like the whole like bloody primal aspect to it, which I thought was a little weird but looking through this thread it doesn't seem to be at all.
