On "Laughing Through the Tears": Talking With Jessie Kahnweiler About Her Dark Comedy, Meet My Rapist
I want to watch this but I don't know if I can. The interview is very interesting though, hopefully I can give this a chance later.
@iceberg I'm biracial, white and black and it blows my mind how rude people are. When I used to work as a cashier I would get asked about it like every shift, and people were so brutal about it. I've had men try and hit on me by calling me exotic looking too, which makes me want to strangle them.
I used to explain my background but I've gotten pretty tired of it and when strangers ask at this point my responses are rather hostile, usually along the lines of 'none of your fucking business'.
My mom's engagement ring was ceramic! She wore it for.. three years I believe, and it didn't break.
Apparently I want to "take her to the seventh sky"? Which sounds sort of great.
They're both so cute, omg omg omg omg
@TheBelleWitch You just inspired me to google what a scallop looks like, as I had no idea... I believe I have also just had an irrational not eating that moment
Mmm I keep trying to write a reply but I'm too tired to get my thoughts together. I had a period of my life that was very similar to this, and although sometimes I romanticize the events and the intensity, it quickly became painful and exhausting and empty and holy fuck I'm glad it's over.
@Emmanuelle Cunt Yeah for sure, maybe if every dude you've dated in the past was a best/worst guy, but one bad choice years ago does not determine who you are now.
AHH this week was a nightmare. But now it's basically over, so I can chill for a bit before I face the horrors of next week.
Anyways, does anyone read any cooking/recipe blogs? The only blog I look at regularly is smitten kitchen, it would be nice to have some others to look at too!
@Oliver St. John Mollusc I POOP IN ANY TOILET I WANT
Maybe it's kind of gross sometimes (every time), but I would never consider it rude.
