@bitzyboozer I use it to remove my make up but then I'm fairly oily so it doesn't worry me. It did wonders when I was on Accutane and my lips started falling off due to a reaction to a lip balm, it had them kissable again within the week. But of course, everything is each to their own!
I will forever be a broken record on this point, but in addition to all the other suggestions for dry skin lady- Cetaphil. Use the cleanser as a body wash and buy the big tub of the thick moisturiser. The mister has icthoysis as well as eczema, he tells me the Cetaphil range is the only thing that's been user friendly and helped his skin.
@meganmaria The overnight clearing gel is the one product I really have my eye on. Glad to know you like it!
@turnipcake That would probably explain my situation! Take heed of this advice. I followed the Crunchy Betty way and went 50/50 with castor and jojoba, no wonder my skin went nuts!
@.Lauren. It failed for me, but this is a really good resource http://www.crunchybetty.com/nitty-gritty-on-the-oil-cleansing-method
@Annie Murphy@facebook I am so glad it has worked for someone! I tried it, I so wanted to like it but it was making my face inflamed (like red and swollen) and the worst zits I've had in a very long time. It appears my face like chemicals :(
@.Lauren. You may call them an esthetician? It's the lady I pay a lot of money to rip hair out of my body and then she tries to sell me expensive products. She's very nice though, if you lived in New Zealand I'd highly recommend my one to you.
@dinos Cheers for that! I have an appointment with my beauty therapist this weekend, I'm sure I can convince her to give me some samples to try.
@area@twitter Intriguing! I'd have to do some searching for something like that, no Sephora in NZ (but oh how I'd love one!). For me it is my temple, cheeks and chin that are the worst. I've rarely had an issue with my nose for some reason... I'm considering mixing Cetaphil and baking soda, but at the moment I'm using something incredibly potent to clean up the zits from my terrible OCM experiment (anyone got any ideas what I can do with castor oil and jojoba oil?)
Right with everyone on the Cetaphil love, but I discovered that coming into summer it wasn't getting all the oil out, so I have lovely clogged pores all over. I'll go back in winter but for now I need something new. I tried OCM and it failed miserably (I had black head, with OCM I had RAGING PIMPLES that are just clearing up now). So I am considering Dermalogica as well, so seconding Jane's call, anyone got any experience with Dermalogica, particularly their Medi-bac line?
