@leon s Ok, I think it's definitely a product of not having to wear dress pants to work, then. All of the men I've lived with or dated whose jobs required business casual had a rather large collection of PJ pants or basketball shorts for house lounging! I lounge in yoga pants and men's sweaters, myself (i've basically been living in this one every weekend since Christmas). On casual fridays, though, when the boyf and I both get to wear jeans to work, neither of us bothers to change into PJ pants or yoga pants, respectively, until it's actually bed time.
For #2, DL1961 has some great jeans that have about a 9" rise in front and a higher rise in back and are not at all moms jeanish. They're expensive, but if you figure out your size, you can always find them on the gilt-type flash sale sites. I've also found a few pairs at Anthro that have a similar medium-high rise in front and high-rise in back. I haven't tried the BDG ones from urban, but they were going to be my first suggestion since they're on sale anyway!
@gobblegirl What is this genius and why have I never made it before??? I'm super excited to make this sometime soon!
@jule_b_sorry You speak the truth!! That Ina Garten method is the absolute best.
I did roasted veggies -- brussels sprouts, parsnips, butternut squash -- at thanksgiving, but people were generally uninterested. Which was a little unexpected, but whatever, more leftovers for me!
@misskaz Pass the pig!! Love that game.
I bought Cards Against Humanity for my brother for xmas, but have never played it, so am kind of stressed about how it will be received. Fingers crossed!
@Is It a Hat? My only request is usually a mushroom gravy to slather all over everything on my plate/eat with a spoon. Mmmmm mushroom gravy.
@Emmanuelle Cunt I caught it this weekend! Well, part of it. I tried to make everyone listen to it in the car on the way to a wedding this weekend, but it was a bit too much of a downer for the celebratory spirit, so we had to change it. I was sad, because I was really enjoying it, downer or no.
@Megano! But the question of course is whether CC cream is also just a variation on tinted moisturizer? Because from what I can tell, that's basically what BB cream is (at least the non-lightening U.S. brands).
@frigwiggin ICE CREAM. Also sorbet and frozen yogurt and custard and milkshakes.
Cake is good and all, but come on, people. Bad cake is so bad, whereas bad ice cream is completely passable.
