man, remember the halcyon days when the majority of hairpin comments weren't about working from home? what is up with all these spam posts?
@everyone - oh man, you guys are killing me with this thread. now these songs will be in my head the rest of the day.
hallelu- hallelu- hallelu- hallelujah PRAISE YE THE LORD!
ah, thank you for this. i was (am still?) having a total crap morning and this is exactly what i need.
this post is relevant to my interests. i watched the most recent episode last night and basically just screamed "oh shit!" at my tv during the last 15 minutes. and i have spent many minutes of my life wondering about that damn chair.
@TheGirl'sAlright is it DK's on lamar? because their escolar is TO DIE FOR. if you order enough sushi, they just start sending you free plates of it. i saw this article and it made me sad. but i'll probably still eat the escolar.
@Emmanuelle Cunt i wasn't even sure what kind of response he was expecting from prudie. "sure, tell your wife that since her inferior asian eggs are useless, you would prefer a white baby, because of all the racism a mixed-race baby would face, which you are 100% sure she has never experienced (magically?). she's going to be totally cool with that." my head was exploding as i read that. and i made extra sure not to look at the comments for that one, because i'm sure they were terrible.
sometimes i read that column just to feel better about my own problems. at least my family isn't demanding that i reconcile with my ex-husband who left me for my sister to start his dream family. WTF.
@meetapossum they did one on this bar here in austin that happens to serve amazing burgers and made it seem like a family-style restaurant, so people started showing up with their kids and were genuinely upset when they got turned away. it was pretty funny.
@KeLynn @roughe i totally agree. i had to make a "lifestyle change" because my blood sugar was out of control. it did restrict my diet in the sense that i had to cut down on sugar, but really it made me stop and pay attention to what is in the food that i eat. and now i am more mindful of what i eat and have a different relationship with food that i have to continue in order to be healthy. i don't feel restricted. i feel a lot better, actually. if you are talking about like, "cutting out carbs" as a lifestyle change, then yeah, that's restrictive eating. but i wouldn't call that a true lifestyle change.
@wee_ramekin hahaha, i only ever saw the angela lansbury, and i was very confused for a minute.
@queenieliz "If you don't like animals, don't date people with animals." - WORD. i just don't understand how like, she has had the cat the WHOLE TIME they have been together, and he's just now deciding that he hates it. i guess i could understand being frustrated if the cat gets old and sick, like other people have said, but LW3 didn't say anything about that.
